White Nights for Family

Day-by-day program

1. Day 1 — Arrival and family hotel

   transfer 25 km

   Meet at Pulkovo Airport or Moskovsky Rail Terminal to suit your schedule, with no waiting for other groups or shared coaches. A private transfer with child seats brings you to Hotel Kempinski Moika 22 on the Moika Embankment. Your family room includes a separate children's area, while the children's welcome set includes a child-sized robe, small toys and cartoons on request; a prayer mat is provided. Rest after the flight, then around 19:00 join a welcome dinner at the hotel's halal restaurant, with a children's menu and a short activity for little ones. Your family guide will outline the White Nights schedule, weather forecast and rain alternatives: the aquarium or planetarium in place of an evening walk. If you feel like it, end with an evening rooftop photo stop overlooking Nevsky (around 20:30; in the White Nights season the light stays soft until 23:00): candid family frames, shot the way your family actually wanders. The experience is solely for your group of 2–8 guests.

2. Day 2 — City highlights and the zoo

   road 30 km, boat 6 km, walk 2 km

   After halal breakfast around 09:00, take a family-friendly minivan tour from about 10:00 of Palace Square, the Bronze Horseman and St. Isaac's Cathedral; an optional climb to the colonnade has 262 steps and a city panorama. Pause for prayer in a quiet place, then around 13:00 enjoy lunch at a family halal restaurant with children's portions. Around 14:30, take a one-hour private cruise along the rivers and canals with a children's audio guide. Continue around 16:00 to Leningrad Zoo for the children's area, where goats and deer can be fed, and to see the seals (~2.5 hours). If it rains, visit Grand Maket Russia or the aquarium instead. The evening is free; dinner is optional and not included.

3. Day 3 — Peterhof and a boat across the gulf

   transfer 60 km, boat 30 km, walk 4 km

   Start with an early breakfast around 08:00, then around 09:00 drive to Peterhof (~30 km). Stop for photographs at Konstantin Palace before visiting the Lower Park, where children use an interactive map to discover the Samson Fountain and avenues. Around 13:00 a chef-prepared halal lunch box is served in a park pavilion, rather than as a picnic on the grass. Around 15:00 return by fast boat across the Gulf of Finland (~1.5 hours, back around 16:30); in stormy weather, travel by minivan via Primorskoye Highway. The evening is free for the aquarium, planetarium or an early night. Your family has the boat to yourselves.

4. Day 4 — The Russian Museum and LabyrinthUm

   walk 5 km

   Around 10:00, visit the State Russian Museum with a family audio guide and a Gzhel plate workshop; children take their finished piece home (~2 hours). Allow time for prayer, then around 13:00 have halal lunch at a café near the museum. After lunch, around 14:30, explore the interactive LabyrinthUm museum on Bolshaya Pushkarskaya, with more than 200 exhibits (~2 hours). Finish with a walk along Nevsky Prospekt and fruit ice cream. If the children are tired, the route is shortened and you return to the hotel. The evening is free.

5. Day 5 — Tsarskoye Selo

   transfer 60 km

   After breakfast, travel to Pushkin and Tsarskoye Selo (~30 km). Visit Catherine Palace and the Amber Room, with stories tailored for children from your guide, followed by a park walk (~3 km). Enjoy a chef-prepared halal lunch box by the pond around 13:00, then return to the city by about 14:00. The afternoon is free for the hotel pool, with women's hours available on request, or for rest. Around 19:00, enjoy a farewell dinner with face painting, a chocolate fountain and alcohol-free mini karaoke. Travel packs are prepared for the children. After dinner, choose your evening slot: ballet at the Mariinsky Theatre (performances usually start at 19:00, tickets on request, roughly $50–120 per seat — we pick early shows so children don't fall asleep in the second act) or a night drawbridge cruise: the boat departs around 23:30, bridges open after 00:10, with blankets and halal snacks on board, back at the hotel around 01:30. All timings are indicative and tuned to the children's ages.

6. Day 6 — Departure

   Have breakfast at the hotel around 09:00, with a children's buffet station offering porridge, yoghurts, pancakes and fruit. The morning is free for the pool, a final walk along the Moika Embankment or rest for little ones. After collecting luggage, travel privately to Pulkovo Airport in a vehicle with child seats; we recommend a departure at least three hours after leaving the hotel. Each child receives a travel set with a backpack, a book about St. Petersburg and sweets. Your host remains in touch until boarding.
